Hall of Fame goings on
Jacquie Phelan will hold a clinic and a discussion at the Hall of Fame this month.

Later, at 4PM March 12, legendary mountain bike champion Jacquie Phelan will discuss how emerging bicycle technology in the late 1800s and early 1900s gave women a significant push towards the freedoms that they enjoy today. Ms. Phelan has written for national and international
cycling publications and created WOMBATS (Women's Mountain Bike & Tea Society as a response to sexism in her chosen sport. Babe or bat, age and appearance affect a woman’s cycling experience from the moment she decides to buy a bike. Phelan will share her analysis of the role of the bicycle in women’s lives over the last 130 years.
