Author writes about RAAM, WSJ reviews it
Amy Synder, a retired management consultant turned Ironman triathlete and cyclist couldn't fathom doing something like the RAAM. She became curious and followed the event in 2009. The race, she says, became an allegory about self discover and breaking through personal barriers that offers lessons for cyclists and non-cyclists alike.
