DBC March Fools Tour III Announcement
A fun finish to 2011 March Madness plus April Fools Day awaits DBC riders on the third annual March Fools Tour, Monday, March 28 – Friday, April 1 — this year riding backwards — on the map that is.
Starting in Davis on Monday, we take the newly opened McGary Rd connection to the Vallejo Ferry and overnight in San Francisco. Tuesday morning, crossing via ferry to Larkspur, we north ride to Bodega Bay.
Wednesday, we ride north and east to Cloverdale. Thursday, we head south to Napa. Friday, we ride from Napa to Davis the easy way over Cardiac. We will stay in the same super lodgings as before. Each day is about 60 miles—options abound for more March miles in the wine country.
Your total price of $240 covers four nights double occupancy in three-star lodging, three breakfasts, luggage and sag support. Singles please sign up with roommates—one triple is possible. Ride rating is mileage C, terrain 2-3.
