First Call for DC Volunteers
The date: May 21st, 2011. The Challenge: gather 300 volunteers. Can you help?
Fellow DBCers the 2011 Davis Double Century is around the corner!
May 21, 2011 will be here in a few months, and, if you have no plans to ride this event, please consider volunteering to help make this event the best ever. It takes a team of about 300 volunteers to
- mark the course
- man rest stops
- provide sag support
- administer first aid
- set up and tear down the Start/Finish area
- check riders in for packet pick up
- check in riders returning to the Finish
- distribute food and gear the night before the DC
- AND clean up on Sunday morning.
The 2011 DC Committee will have the first organizational meeting on Jan 31.
