This brevet begins at the Marketplace Shopping Center near the intersection of Highway 113 and Covell Blvd. in Davis. Unlike the standard series of spring rides, this is an unsupported brevet.
Check-in is located near the Big 5 Sporting Goods Store on the east side of the shopping center.The route heads west to Winters, up to Lake Berryessa, over Cardiac hill and down to Moskowite Corner at the intersection of routes 121 and 128. Be reminded that the convenience store at this intersection is still closed so carry extra goodies! Following route 128 you ride past Lake Hennessey, down to Silverado Trail, and over rolling vineyard-covered hills to the turn around in Calistoga. After getting a receipt at Mitchell's Grocery Store, you head back to Davis over the same roads.
