400k Brevet

The 400k to Lake Sonoma via Calistoga and JimTown Road will be the same route as the 2011 400k - a route that uses old and familar roads.  The outbound leg loops down through Vacaville and back up Wooden Valley Road, tracing parts of the Foxy's Fall Century route.  After Moskowite, the route follows the 200k and 300k route before it drops down Sage Canyon, past Lake Hennessey, and onto the Silverado Trail to Calistoga, and from there to Lake Sonoma.  The inbound route retraces the same route to Moskowite, then heads over Cardiac, past Monticello Dam to Lake Solano, then heads south to Vacaville for a receipt control, before working east and north back to the start/finish line.
