Steve Larson Bike Plaza Update

As part of the new Davis High School stadium, the Blue and White foundation raised money to build a bicycle parking plaza in honor of Steve Larsen. Davis Bike Club donated $5,000 to that project, and in recognition of our donation there will be three DBC recognition plaques in the plaza bearing the name of Davis Bike Club and Davis Bike Club Race Team.

The plaza is in the final stages of completion. Bike racks and commemorative bricks have been installed, and trees, in-ground medallions and finishing touches should be installed in early October. There will be a formal celebration/grand opening affair mid to late October, but the date and time has not yet been finalized. An announcement will go out when the date is finalized.
