February and March were busy race months with some classics on hand such as Snelling Road Race and Land Park Criterium. The DBC Race Team also held the annual intra-squad Smackdown on the Bariani Road Race course plus the Team Training Camp in Bodega Bay, with awesome results. We were deeply saddened to learn of Dan Taylor's untimely death due to a hit-and-run during the Wheelworks Time Trial. Dan was a member of Team Hammer Nutrition and 2nd place finisher at time trial National Championship in Bend, Oregon, September 2013. Our deepest condolences go out to Dan's family and friends.
Mark your calendars for the DBC Women's Development Program (WDP) fundraiser, May 11th, after the Sacramento Women's stage of the Tour of California. The WDP fundraiser will feature the just-released documentary film on women's pro racing called Half the Road and a team presentation at the Mondavi Center. The one and only Bob Roll will be MC'ing the fundraiser so get ready to hang with the Bobke and bring in the wampum for the women's team!
