July Minutes in Brief
The 2015 Board of Directors Nominating Committee Chairman has been appointed. - A motion passed, that $2000.00 be taken from reserves and made available to fund the March Madness helmet program for 2014.
- The Race Team Director and committee members met with (former DBC member) Sean Wilson. He is establishing a foundation to honor his father. The foundation may donate money to DBC to fund two on going awards for meritorious Race Team members.
- Race Team Women’s Development Program
- A motion passed, to create a budget line item for WDP income with a target number of $6000.00, this will include the proceeds from the May 2014 WDP fund raising event.
- A second motion passed, to allocate $2500.00 from the WDP line item to cover the August and September coaching costs.
- Self-storage "Shed" costs will increase to $170.00 per month as of 8/1/14.
