Double Century Update - Help still needed!!!
The 43rd Davis Double Century is just days away. I want to thank all of you who have volunteered to help with this great event. It takes about 300 of you to make the DC happen. Our volunteers are exceptional and support our riders from the start, all along the 200 miles until they reach the finish.
If there are still some of you who have not signed up to work, there are still some areas that we NEED help. We need some additional folks at the first rest stop that opens at 5:30 AM and closes at 7:30 AM, just 23 miles from Davis. AND, then a few more volunteers are needed at the Farnham Ranch rest stop about 7 PM to 11 PM. If you are able to help, please contact Mike at bekimax@gmail.com.
My wish list has one more wish! How about cheering on the riders as you direct them into the Finish at the Vets' Memorial?
We are going to make this a super ride for the 43rd DC. Dan Shadoan has promised great weather. We provide the food and drink and the t shirt! See you all on May 19!
