April Minutes in Brief
The Club President gave an update on the Ride of Silence (RoS). An email from Ellen Winder about the status of the project was reviewed. The Board of Directors will be represented on the RoS by at least John Steggall in attendance and John Hess opening the Hall of Fame.
- Dunlap Memorial Fund: The Race Team Director presented a paper reviewing the history of the fund. A lengthy discussion followed. No final conclusions were reached. The Board will take up this issue again for further consideration.
- Women’s Race Team Coaching Agreement: The Race Team Director presented a proposed contract to be concluded between the DBC Board and Robin Farina. The terms of the contract were discussed. The Board approved the Club President to sign the contract with two changes: that the December termination date be eliminated and, a "without cause" section be added that would permit either party to terminate the contract, without cause, within a specified period of time.
