Are you a gardener or fan of native California plants?

SABA needs your help to care for its adopted section of the Sacramento Northern Trailhead Bikeway. SABA's section runs from the trailhead on C Street between 19th and 20th Streets to the Union Pacific RR undercrossing and is next to the Blue Diamond Almond factory.  The section has been planted with California native plants and is marked by an iconic archway erected by SABA.  We need a coordinator to oversee the cleanup, care and maintenance of the section.

This involves coordinating groups of volunteers who gather 4 times a year to weed, trim and clean up the plantings.  The  City of Sacramento supplies us with tools, supplies, trash pick-up and additional volunteers.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Carol Greenwood our past 20th/C Coordinator at greenwood.c@comcast.net  or volunteer@sacbike.org Carol will be able to meet with the new coordinator and help them out the first time. She is available most weekends.
